Description: We are back in Atlanta, talking to local filmmaker Chris Ortega. Writer -Director Christopher Ortega's story begins after graduating from Morehouse College (2013) and USC School of Cinematic Arts (2017) where he was awarded the Edward Troutner Scholarship for his accomplishments in Cinematography. His award winning Afro-futuristic Sci-fi short film Prototype has played in festivals around North America such as the 2019 HollyShorts Film Festival, 2019 Pan African Film Festival, 2018 American Black Film Festival and 2018 Atlanta Sci-Fi Film Festival where it won the Audience Award for Best Live Action Short. He most recently directed and produced the magical realism short film about lucid dreaming called Oneironaut starring Brandon P. Bell from the Netflix series Dear White People.
